If your favorite kinky hangout is a bit empty this weekend, its probably because everyone left town and went to San Francisco. This is the last weekend in September, and that always means its Folsom Street Fair Weekend! And this year Folsom celebrates its 25th Anniversary!
Now this is no ordinary kinky event. Noooo Sir… Not in the land of kink and kindness. Nope. they take over 13 city blocks for the entire day and not much of anything is off limits inside. Except … well, no not even that….
I went one year and was amazed at what I saw. Almost every kink was on display and everyone was friendly… Well, except one man who was parading his petite nude female slave around on a leash while yelling at everyone to stop taking her picture (it’s San francisco, what do you expect??)
The event is very well organized and very safe for friends and foe alike… Everyone is there to have fun while trying to raise awareness to the causes that have endangered our sexual freedoms. Exhibitors are all over offering everything from leather lipstick to flogging to real cock-ring toss to pony parades. It is all here.
What started out in 1983 as a celebration for the gay and lesbian population has turned into nothing short of a freaky fun leather and lace parade of human sexuality and perversion. All done for a good cause.
This year is expected to attract close to 500,000 people, 250 + exhibitors and who knows how many fetishes will be on display. It’s always best to show up early for best viewing expieriences. By noon its usually breast to butt hole packed with people and pony carts.
The best part is the price of admission. All this fun can be yours for a requested $5.00 donation!! Yup… five bucks… they are keeping the kink party affordable… Gotta love them.
If you are like me and can’t make it this year, wait a few days and hit up Flickr or other photo/video websites for all the great pictures.
